This Privacy Policy explains how SS Holdings Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in the SS Holdings Customer Portal mobile application (the “App”). The App is a private portal for SS Holdings Co., Ltd.’s existing customers to view their own vehicle stock, shipments, bids, and account ledger. Access is by invitation only; accounts are issued by SS Holdings Co., Ltd..
Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to operate the portal:
- Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored encrypted), issued by SS Holdings Co., Ltd..
- Business data — your own records held in our system: vehicles, shipments, packing lists, auction bids, and account ledger.
- Documents & photos — for staff roles, photos and documents you upload (e.g. vehicle or loading photos). Camera and photo-library access is requested only when you use these features.
- Technical data — device and log information (e.g. app version, error logs) used to keep the service reliable and secure.
We do not collect location data, contacts, or advertising identifiers. The App contains no advertising and no third-party tracking.
How we use information
- To authenticate you and provide access to your account portal.
- To display your vehicles, shipments, bids, and ledger.
- To send you account-related notifications (e.g. bid results, shipment updates).
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical issues.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
How information is shared
We share information only with service providers that host and operate the App on our behalf (e.g. cloud hosting and push-notification delivery), under confidentiality obligations, and only as needed to run the service. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Data retention
We retain your account and business records for as long as your account is active and as needed for our legitimate business and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account (see below).
Security
Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing, and all data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Your rights & account deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, including deletion of your account, by contacting us at support@ss.holdings. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
The App is intended for business use by authorized customers and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
